International Congress on Accounting and Finance Research became an international congress in 2015 and started to be held every year. The congress, which will be held for the ninth time this year, will be hosted by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. “9th International Congress on Accounting and Finance Research – ICAFR'22” will be held by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, in Tokat, the City of Scholars and Poets, between 29 September – 1 October 2022 at the “15 July Congress and Culture Center”.

Congress; It provides an opportunity for academicians, researchers, professionals and stakeholders working in the field of accounting and finance to come together. Contributing to the field in terms of discussing the results of research in the field of accounting and finance and sharing experiences, the congress is also important in following current developments and new trends.

That this exciting period, in which many concepts such as digitalization, Industry 4.0, digital revolution, artificial intelligence , augmented reality, blockchain , internet of things, NFT and metaverse are frequently used, will also affect the fields of accounting and finance research. In addition, the recent and still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic creates new research areas in terms of accounting and finance. In this context, researches to be conducted in line with the developments and effects mentioned and other interdisciplinary researches including different approaches will be presented at the congress. A summary of the research to be presented at the congress should be prepared. summaries prepared in Turkish must also be prepared in English.

The presentation language of the congress was determined as Turkish and English. It is an international scientific meeting that complies with the application conditions for associate professorship, and efforts will be made to meet the academic incentive criteria. Papers accepted and presented at the congress will be published in the Congress Proceedings Book with ISBN, which includes abstracts. In addition, a full-text book will be prepared upon the request of the paper owners. It will also be possible to publish the papers in various journals scanned in international/national indexes.
